Olympian Manu Bhaker secured the top position in the Women’s 10m Pistol event at the National Selection Trial 3 (Group A), finishing with an impressive 246.1 points in the final. She defeated Sanyam by 4.2 points, who finished in second place.
Manu Bhaker Tops Final with 246.1 Points
The final of the Women’s 10m Pistol event concluded on Tuesday, where Manu Bhaker delivered a strong performance to claim first place. Sanyam, who had won the previous trial (Trial 2), finished second with 241.9 points.
Meanwhile, Esha Singh secured third place among the eight finalists with a score of 220.6 points.
Strong Comeback in the Final
Manu entered the final as the last qualifier, but she quickly turned the competition around. By the end of the second series, she had taken the lead and maintained her advantage throughout the event to finish at the top with 246.1 points.
Esha Singh Topped Qualification Round
Earlier in the qualification round, Esha Singh led the standings with 580 points to qualify for the final. Surbhi Rao finished second with 578 points.
Sanyam secured sixth place with 575 points, while Manu Bhaker qualified in eighth place with 574 points.
National Team to Begin Coaching Camp
Following the completion of the trials, the Indian national shooting team will begin a coaching camp starting Wednesday at the same venue to prepare for upcoming international competitions.
