Acting on the directions of Yogi Adityanath, the administration, the culture department, and several organizations are working together to decorate the city with traditional and cultural themes to ensure a warm and dignified welcome for the President.

Grand Welcome from Airport to Ram Mandir

According to Chief Development Officer Krishna Kumar Singh, the Culture Department is organizing a grand welcome along the route from the airport to the gates of Ram Mandir Ayodhya. Around 20 cultural stages will be set up along the roads where nearly 250 artists will perform during the President’s visit.

250 Artists to Perform Ramayana-Based Cultural Programs

Artists from various districts of Uttar Pradesh will present cultural performances inspired by the Ramayana. These programs will include welcome songs, devotional bhajans, traditional “Badhava” songs, Awadhi folk singing, and folk dances dedicated to Lord Ram.

The stages will be installed along both sides of the President’s travel route, filling the entire pathway with devotional music and cultural performances celebrating Ayodhya’s spiritual heritage.

Showcasing Ayodhya’s Traditional Culture

To highlight the rich cultural heritage of Ayodhya, several traditional performances will be organized. These include Ramleela enactments, Awadhi folk dances, cultural tableaux, drum performances, conch shell blowing, Vedic chanting, and devotional bhajan kirtans.

Through these presentations, visitors will experience glimpses of Ayodhya’s ancient religious, Vedic, and cultural traditions.

Cultural Stages at Key Locations in the City

Cultural stages will be set up at several important locations across the city, including Airport Road, Naka, Devkali, Chudamani Chauraha, Nishad Raj Chauraha, near Brihaspati Kund, and close to the Ram Mandir gate.

Smaller stages will feature teams of around seven artists, while larger stages will host cultural groups of up to fifteen performers presenting traditional programs.

Promoting Ayodhya’s Cultural Heritage on a Global Platform

Officials stated that all participating groups will showcase Ram devotion, Awadhi culture, and Vedic traditions through their performances. The main objective of this grand event is to offer a heartfelt and traditional welcome to the President while presenting Ayodhya’s rich cultural heritage on both national and global platforms.
