Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has intensified its crackdown on illegal land plotting and unauthorized developments, demolishing approximately 200 biswa of illegal plots in Sector 1 as part of an ongoing enforcement campaign.
The demolition drive targeted unauthorized plotting activities in Hansapur and Tonia Bihari Pur, where layouts had reportedly been developed without obtaining approval from the Development Authority.
200 Biswa Illegal Plotting Demolished in Ayodhya
According to officials, the enforcement team carried out demolition operations on:
- 150 biswa of illegal plotting in Hansapur
- 50 biswa of illegal plotting in Tonia Bihari Pur
Authorities stated that all affected developments lacked approved layouts from the Ayodhya Development Authority, making them unauthorized under planning regulations.
The action was taken as part of ADA’s ongoing anti-encroachment and illegal construction removal campaign aimed at controlling unplanned urban development within the authority’s jurisdiction.
Ayodhya Development Authority Warns Property Buyers
Rajesh Mishra, Secretary of the Ayodhya Development Authority, advised residents and potential land buyers to verify all legal approvals before purchasing plots.
He urged people to thoroughly check:

before investing in any property to avoid future legal complications or demolition actions.
