Ayodhya, India: A significant religious ceremony will take place on May 29 at the Durga Temple inside the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya, where Sadhvi Ritambhara will perform the Dharma Dhwaja (religious flag) hoisting ceremony. The event will witness the presence of more than 3,500 women (Matrushakti), including 163 female representatives from Vrindavan’s Vatsalya Gram, a social-spiritual organization founded by Sadhvi Ritambhara.
The Durga Temple flag hoisting ceremony in Ayodhya is being organized under the guidance of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which has dedicated the event to women empowerment and Matrushakti (maternal strength).
Sadhvi Ritambhara to Lead Historic Ceremony at Ram Temple Complex
Sadhvi Ritambhara, widely recognized as one of the prominent female leaders associated with the Ram Mandir movement, will hoist the religious flag atop the Durga Temple constructed within the Ram Temple premises. The ceremony is expected to take place in the presence of thousands of women attendees.

163 Women Representatives from Vatsalya Gram to Attend

Vatsalya Gram provides shelter, care, and a family-like environment for:
- Orphaned children
- Abandoned or destitute women
- Senior citizens and elderly individuals
According to reports, the majority of attendees from Vatsalya Gram will be women, although some elderly residents are also expected to participate in the ceremony.
Event Dedicated to Matrushakti by Ram Janmabhoomi Trust
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has dedicated the Durga Temple flag hoisting ceremony entirely to Matrushakti, emphasizing women’s contribution to religious and cultural traditions.
Participants are expected to include women associated with:

- Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP)
- Durga Vahini
- Matrushakti organizations

Women officials and family members connected with security agencies deployed at the Ram Temple complex—including Police, PAC, SSF, CRPF, and LIU—have also been invited. Female staff members and employees associated with the Ram Temple Trust and construction agencies will attend as part of the celebration.

Officials involved in the event arrangements confirmed that the 163 representatives from Vatsalya Gram have already been listed for participation, and invitation letters will be issued to all attendees.
