The process to establish another Ayurvedic Medical College in Ayodhya has officially begun. A delegation from Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, recently visited the city to explore the possibility of launching BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) classes.

During their visit, the university representatives met with Dr. Dilip Singh, Director of Shri Guru Vashishtha Gurukul, and inspected the Gurukul campus. Discussions were held regarding the feasibility of conducting BAMS classes within the campus premises. The delegation also outlined the infrastructure and land requirements needed for the proposed college.

Five Acres of Land Required for Ayurvedic Medical College

Officials stated that approximately five acres of land would be required for establishing the Ayurvedic Medical College, preferably near the Gurukul campus. The proposed institution plans to offer the BAMS degree program.

The opening of the college is expected to directly benefit students studying in Sanskrit institutions across Ayodhya. In addition to traditional scholarly pursuits, students will now have the opportunity to pursue careers as qualified Ayurvedic doctors.

District’s First Ayurvedic College Under Construction

It is noteworthy that the district’s first Ayurvedic Medical College is currently under construction in Manjhanpur, Mawai Block, Rudauli Tehsil. OPD services have already commenced at the site. The college will offer admission to 60 seats in the BAMS program.

Prof. R.K. Singh, Treasurer of Shri Guru Vashishtha Gurukul and retired librarian of Awadh University, confirmed that the visiting delegation thoroughly inspected the campus facilities.

Special Foundation Course for Sanskrit Students

Dr. Dilip Singh further stated that once the medical college becomes operational, a one-and-a-half-year foundational course will be introduced for students who have passed Class 10 with a background in Sanskrit education. Students who successfully complete this course will become eligible for admission into the BAMS program.

He emphasized that the establishment of the institution will significantly promote the Ayurvedic system of medicine in Ayodhya while also expanding healthcare access for residents.

Proposed Facilities: OPD and Panchakarma Services

There has been a growing demand in Ayodhya for a large Ayurvedic hospital. The proposed medical college is expected to include OPD services and Panchakarma treatment facilities, strengthening traditional healthcare services in the region.

A member of the visiting delegation from Central Sanskrit University mentioned that, starting from the new academic session, the university plans to operate medical colleges not only in Nashik but also in Ayodhya. Additionally, several pharmacy college operators have expressed willingness to introduce Ayurvedic courses at their respective institutions.

  1. Despite what the ABC has uncovered, Ms Fentiman said she was advised that the investigations into Chow Tai Fook were “extensive” and found the
company suitable as a casino owner. Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman said
the ABC’s revelations warranted a fresh investigation of
Chow Tai Fook’s suitability as a casino owner by the office of Liquor and Gaming Regulator
(OLGR). Decades before the Palaszczuk government approved Chow Tai Fook’s stake in Queen’s Wharf, Cheng family companies had failed to demonstrate they were
fit to operate in Australia’s casino industry. Star took
months to cut ties with Suncity, but its casino partner Chow Tai Fook never did.

Mr Seeney said, under the close eye of Probity Adviser Len Scanlan, the State
Government’s assessment team is continuing to work on understanding
the detail of the proposals and a decision on the successful proponent is expected
in the coming months. “The Integrated Resorts being proposed by both consortia include world class hotels, restaurants, bars, gaming, outdoor public spaces and improved river access and a range of exciting attractions for locals and tourists.” “Today we have asked the consortia to share their designs and master plans for the precinct with the people of Brisbane and Queensland,” he said.

“Whichever project is ultimately chosen by the government, Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will build on the already great places in Brisbane for locals and tourists, and include a link to Southbank via a new pedestrian bridge. “This redevelopment will bring thousands of jobs to the city both in the construction phase
of the project but also in tourism, retail and entertainment during the life of the new
    resort.
“Tourism offers great opportunities for Queensland’s future but we need landmark investments like (the) Destination Brisbane Consortium’s to turn the potential into real jobs and income for the state,” he said.

“We know how important cultural events are to Brisbane’s tourism industry, so connecting the two precincts will allow tourists to stay at one of the five new hotels incorporated into the Queens Wharf development and take in all that QPAC, GOMA and the museum have to offer.” Griffith University has reached its milestone target of raising $125 million to

for the Dorsett and Rosewood hotel towers, Velo Café,
and high-end retail outlets to be announced in the coming months.
As it comes under its own investigation, The Star might breathe a little
easier with its rival offered the chance for redemption. While
The Star has retained its grip on the old State Library building, it reportedly said it would look into future usage and

“Our vision is to build on Brisbane’s characteristic strengths and create an iconic new world city,’’ he said that draws increasing numbers of international tourists and businesses,” he said.
“The Queens Wharf integrated resort development will be vastly different from the standalone casinos of the past and will include facilities such as six-star hotels, retail, restaurant and entertainment zones, convention facilities and dynamic public open spaces,”
Mr Seeney said. He described the four consortia
as “high-quality leisure and gaming companies with international reputations in delivering high-quality transformational mixed-use, hotel and entertainment and gaming projects”.

Star currently runs the Treasury Casino in Brisbane and The Star
Gold Coast and plans to have its Treasury casino licence transferred
to the Queen’s Wharf casino when it opens. It is due to partly open later next year,
after construction delays pushed the opening back several months.
That precinct will include 1,000 premium hotel rooms, restaurants, up to 2,
000 residential apartments, a dozen football fields of public
space, and a foot bridge across the Brisbane River, which is half finished.
The $3.6 billion project is under construction and
will include a casino, two residential towers, a commercial tower and luxury hotels across 26-hectares of the Brisbane
CBD. The final project will include expanses of parkland in the CBD.

Other bids for Queensland cities did not include plans for improving
public spaces, and actually proposed to replace public facilities.
