First Anniversary of Ram Parivar and Auxiliary Temples Celebrated at Ayodhya Ram Mandir with Grand Rituals

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: The first anniversary of the consecration (Pran Pratishtha) of the Ram Parivar and seven auxiliary temples within the Ram Mandir complex in Ayodhya was celebrated with great devotion and traditional rituals on Tuesday. The ceremonies were organized by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust and included special worship, havan, abhishek, Vedic chanting, and Chhappan Bhog offerings.

The celebrations took place at the first floor of the Ram Temple, where the Ram Parivar is enshrined, as well as at the seven complementary temples located inside the Ram Janmabhoomi premises.

Special Religious Rituals Organized at Ram Temple Complex

On the occasion of the first anniversary, elaborate religious ceremonies were conducted in front of the temples and inside the Yagyashala (sacrificial hall).

Under the guidance of temple priests and acharyas:

  • Special puja and archana were performed
  • Abhishek rituals were conducted for the deities
  • The idols received grand floral decorations and adornment
  • Havan rituals were organized with Vedic chants
  • Chhappan Bhog was offered and later distributed among devotees

The Trust appointed eight separate yajmans (chief worship participants) for different temples during the ceremony.

Ram Parivar and Seven Auxiliary Temples Consecrated Last Year

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had organized the collective Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Parivar and seven auxiliary temples on June 5 last year, coinciding with Ganga Dussehra (Jyeshtha Shukla Dashami).

The seven complementary temples are dedicated to:

  • Lord Shiva
  • Lord Ganesha
  • Surya Dev (Sun God)
  • Goddess Annapurna
  • Goddess Durga
  • Lord Hanuman
  • Sheshavatar

Tuesday’s celebrations marked the first anniversary according to the Hindu calendar date.

Prominent Devotees Participated as Yajmans

The rituals began at 7 AM and continued until 12 PM, during which all deities and Raja Ram were worshipped with special ceremonies.

For the Ram Parivar temple on the first floor, former Mayor Hrishikesh Upadhyay and his wife Vandana Upadhyay participated as yajmans.

At the Hanuman Temple located in the southern section of the Parikota, worship was performed by:

  • Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi
  • Rajlakshmi Tripathi

Similarly:

  • Shakti Singh and Geeta Singh performed worship at the Surya Temple
  • Nishendra Mohan Mishra Guddu and his wife participated at the Annapurna Temple

Other yajmans included:

  • Rupesh Ojha
  • Manoj Srivastava
  • Rohit Pramanik
  • Additional invited devotees

Following the rituals, Chhappan Bhog offerings were formally presented to the deities.

Grand Decoration and Valmiki Ramayana Recitation

All temples within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex were specially decorated for the anniversary celebration.

According to Gopal Rao, manager of the Ram Temple, priests also conducted:

  • Religious recitations
  • Path-Parayan ceremonies
  • Valmiki Ramayana recitation at the Ram Parivar temple

The spiritual atmosphere attracted devotees and visitors who participated in the celebrations with devotion and enthusiasm.
