Preparations are in full swing in Ayodhya for the historic ceremony scheduled on November 25, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the sacred saffron Dharma Dhwaj atop the Ram Temple. The flag, which features symbols of the Sun, “Om,” and the Kobidar (Kadamba) tree, has already arrived at the temple premises.

PM Modi to Hoist the Flag During the Auspicious Abhijit Muhurat

On November 25, between 11:55 AM and 12:10 PM, during the auspicious Abhijit Muhurat, Prime Minister Modi will install and hoist the Dharma Dhwaj on the 161-foot-tall spire of the Ram Temple. According to officials, within 10 seconds of pressing the button, the saffron flag will begin fluttering in the air.

Multiple rehearsals have been conducted by senior army officials to ensure the ceremony is flawless.

The Sacred Flag Can Be Seen From Up to 4 Kilometers Away

A 42-foot-tall pillar has been installed on the temple spire, and the flag measuring 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width will be mounted on it. Once hoisted, the bright saffron flag will be visible from nearly 4 kilometers away.

The symbols engraved on it—Surya (Sun), Om, and the sacred tree—represent the Suryavansh (Solar Dynasty) of Lord Ram.

As soon as the flag is hoisted, temple bells and conch sounds are expected to resonate across the entire Sanatan community, including temples and households.

Automated Flag Hoisting System Installed (Unconfirmed)

Sources suggest that the Ram Temple has also been equipped with an automatic flag-hosting system, which can also be used to replace the flag when required. Though the Temple Trust has not officially confirmed this, the system is said to support 360-degree rotation of the flag during strong winds.

Nearly 6,000 Distinguished Guests to Attend

The ceremony will be attended by several prominent personalities from eastern Uttar Pradesh, along with 6,000 distinguished guests invited from across the country.
The Prime Minister, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Governor Anandiben Patel will be present in Ayodhya for the ceremony.

During the event, PM Modi will symbolically announce the completion of the Ram Temple construction.

LED Screens Across the City for Live Telecast

To ensure the ceremony reaches every devotee, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is installing LED screens at all major intersections in Ayodhya.
Devotees across India and abroad will be able to watch the live broadcast via Doordarshan from their homes.

Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri confirmed that preparations are progressing at a war-footing level to make this national event a grand success.
