Delhi Blast Probe Reaches Ayodhya: ATS Collects Details of Kashmiri Student from UP Medical College Despite Earlier Restrictions
As part of the ongoing investigation into the Delhi blast, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has reached Ayodhya and gathered details of a Kashmiri student studying at Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College.
This is the same student who was previously accused of misbehaving with female students and women staff. However, the college’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) had treated it as a first-time offence and allowed him to continue after taking an affidavit and imposing certain movement restrictions on him.
ATS Team Visited the College Campus
According to sources, an ATS team visited the Ganaja campus of Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College two days ago and collected all relevant information about the student, including:
- Academic records
- Attendance
- Background details
- Hostel and movement information
The ATS has not confirmed whether the student is directly linked to the blast, but the data collection suggests that investigators are exploring all possible angles.
Earlier Incident Led to Restrictions
The Kashmiri student had earlier faced complaints from female students and staff members regarding inappropriate behavior. The college’s ICC reviewed the matter, accepted his written apology, and imposed restrictions that barred him from visiting certain areas of the campus.
