Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Visits Ayodhya with Wife, Offers Prayers at Ram Temple and Hanumangarhi
Ayodhya: Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Ayodhya on Wednesday along with his wife, Sadhana Singh, and family members. During his visit, he offered prayers at the Ram Temple and Hanumangarhi shrine.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, Chouhan said, “Lord Ram represents our very existence. He is our revered deity, our life force, and our God. He resides in every part of my being and in every breath I take.”
Praising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Chouhan said that under his leadership, Uttar Pradesh is continuously progressing and transforming into an ‘Uttam Pradesh’ (Excellent State). He added that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India, Self-Reliant India, and Prosperous India, the country is moving forward rapidly.
Chouhan further said that with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family), India is playing the role of a global partner and well-wisher. He prayed to Ram Lalla for the happiness, good health, and welfare of all citizens.
The Union Minister reached the Ram Temple around 3:30 PM. He, along with his wife Sadhana Singh and Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Agriculture Baldev Singh Aulakh, was welcomed by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trust member Dr. Anil Mishra. They were given a guided tour of the temple complex, briefed about the ongoing construction work, and shown the temple murals.
Several officials were present on the occasion, including SP Security Balramachari Dubey and TCE Project Manager Rajiv Dubey. At Hanumangarhi, Sankat Mochan Sena President Mahant Sanjay Das honored the Union Minister with a memento.
Earlier, upon his arrival at the airport, Chouhan was warmly welcomed by Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta, Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, Rudauli MLA Ramchandra Yadav, former MP Lallu Singh, and other dignitaries.
