A day after celebrating his 75th birthday amid widespread love from fans, celebrities and colleagues, superstar Rajinikanth chose a serene and spiritual path to mark the milestone. The legendary actor was seen visiting the Tirupati Balaji temple with his family, offering prayers in a quiet, deeply personal moment away from the spotlight.

Photos that surfaced on social media showed Rajinikanth arriving at the sacred temple alongside his wife Latha Rajinikanth and daughters Soundarya and Aishwarya. His grandson, Yatra Raja, was also present, walking closely beside him as the family moved through the temple complex. The visuals offered fans a rare and intimate glimpse of Thalaiva in a calm, reflective setting, far removed from the glamour of film sets and public events.

After completing the darshan, Rajinikanth briefly posed for photographs with his family. He warmly acknowledged devotees gathered outside the temple, greeting them with his signature smile and gentle wave before exiting the premises.

Padayappa Re-Release Adds To Birthday Buzz

Adding to the significance of his milestone birthday, Rajinikanth recently marked the occasion with the theatrical re-release of his iconic 1999 film Padayappa. Directed by KS Ravikumar, the film remains one of the most celebrated titles in Indian cinema, particularly remembered for Ramya Krishnan’s unforgettable portrayal of Neelambari.

During promotions for the re-release, Rajinikanth revealed that he had once contemplated a sequel to Padayappa. He also shared that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was initially considered for the antagonist’s role, which eventually became one of Ramya Krishnan’s most iconic performances. The film also featured Soundarya, Lakshmi, Sithara and Radha Ravi in key roles.

What’s Next For Thalaiva

On the professional front, Rajinikanth is preparing for Jailer 2, the sequel to Nelson Dilipkumar’s 2023 blockbuster Jailer. The upcoming instalment is expected to escalate the action and drama, with Muthuvel Pandian facing new and more dangerous challenges. Actors Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar are likely to reprise their roles, while Mithun Chakraborty and Vidya Balan are also expected to play pivotal parts.

In addition, Rajinikanth is associated with Thalaivar173, a tentatively titled project co-produced by Kamal Haasan and reportedly directed by Parking filmmaker Ramkumar Balakrishnan. Though details remain tightly guarded, the project has already generated significant buzz among fans and the industry.

Even at 75, Rajinikanth continues to redefine superstardom — seamlessly balancing cinematic dominance with humility, spirituality and family values, proving once again why he remains an enduring icon.
