The International Ramkatha Museum in Ayodhya is set to open for devotees by April, with most of the construction work expected to be completed by March. The museum will feature five fully digitalised galleries, being developed in collaboration with IIT Chennai, offering visitors an immersive spiritual and cultural experience.

According to Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee, one gallery will be dedicated to Lord Hanuman, while four galleries will showcase the life and divine journey of Lord Shri Ram. These galleries will use advanced digital technology to present key episodes from the Ramayana in a visually engaging format.

Pass-Based Darshan System for Auxiliary Temples

Mishra also announced that darshan at all auxiliary and Saptarishi temples within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex will soon be conducted through a pass-based system. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is currently developing a dedicated computer program for this purpose. The proposal is expected to be reviewed by January 23–24, and darshan through passes may begin by the first or second week of February.

Progress Review and Souvenir Block Development

On his second day in Ayodhya, Mishra chaired a review meeting at the Ramkatha Museum to assess ongoing work. The meeting was attended by Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, Museum Director Dr Sanjeev Kumar Singh, and officials from implementing agencies.

Final approval was also given for the construction of the souvenir block near the museum entrance. This block will include a reception and orientation room, ticket counter, cloakroom, cafeteria, souvenir shop, and modern restroom facilities, enhancing visitor convenience.

Healthcare Infrastructure Also Advancing

Addressing the media earlier, Mishra said that the upgradation of Shri Ram Hospital has been reviewed by Additional Chief Secretary Amit Kumar Ghosh. Once state government approval is granted, procurement of modern medical equipment will begin. The aim is to provide immediate and quality healthcare facilities near the Ram Temple for pilgrims.

In addition, the Modi Cancer Care Trust will establish a cancer hospital in Ayodhya. Land for the project has been identified by the Ayodhya royal family, and the district administration has already granted the necessary NOC. The agreement process is expected to be completed soon.

It was also announced that a member of the Ayodhya royal family will serve as a lifetime trustee of the hospital management trust. The project report is ready, and efforts are being made to ensure that cancer treatment and diagnostic services become operational within the next two years.
