An invitation has been extended to Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the upcoming Ram Temple inauguration ceremony, and the Prime Minister has expressed his willingness to attend.
According to Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee, the event will mark the completion of the temple’s core structure.
“PM Modi has been invited on November 25 for the flag-hoisting ceremony of the Ram Temple. It will signify the completion of the main construction work. The Prime Minister has indicated that he will attend the program,” Mishra told PTI.
Construction Status of the Ayodhya Ram Temple
Mishra informed that while some elements like the boundary wall and auditorium will take longer—expected to be completed by 2026—the main temple complex will be fully ready by the November 25 deadline.
He added that devotees will be able to visit the entire complex once the inauguration is held, as the core temple construction will be complete by then. The flag-hoisting ceremony, led by PM Modi, will not only celebrate the completion of the temple but also serve as a moment of deep national and cultural significance.
“The temple’s main structure will be completed by November, and devotees will be allowed entry to the entire complex. Construction of the boundary wall is expected to take around one and a half years, while the auditorium is projected to be finished in the first half of 2026,” Mishra stated.
Green Spaces and Design Vision: A Glimpse Inside the Temple Complex
Mishra further shared details of the temple’s landscape design, which includes a lush Vatika (garden) with more than 750 trees, covering 70% of the area in greenery. This aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of creating a spiritual and eco-friendly environment that unites people across all regions, communities, and ideologies.
“After a recent meeting regarding the design of the flag, General Secretary Champat Rai has been tasked with taking the final call. Our Prime Minister’s vision is that the Ram Temple should be accepted and celebrated by people from every region and section of society,” Mishra said.
“The Vatika will also be completed by then, featuring 750 trees and ensuring 70% greenery throughout the temple complex,” he added.
