Dhurandhar Worldwide Box Office Collection: Ranveer Singh’s Film Shatters Records in Just 21 Days, Gets Massive Christmas Boost
Ranveer Singh–starrer Dhurandhar is continuing its unstoppable run at the box office. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has been delivering impressive numbers since day one and is now reaping huge benefits from the holiday season. Even on weekdays, the film has maintained strong momentum, and the Christmas holiday gave its earnings a major push.
Released on December 5, Dhurandhar has completed 21 days in theatres and has already surpassed several blockbuster films. In just three weeks, the film has broken the worldwide box office record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and secured a place among the top five highest-grossing Hindi films of all time. It is now just a step away from overtaking Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
Christmas Boost Fuels Dhurandhar’s Box Office Surge
Dhurandhar is performing exceptionally well not only in India but also in international markets. According to Bollywood Hungama, the film earned a massive ₹28 crore on Day 21 (Christmas Day) alone. With this, the film’s total domestic collection has reached ₹668.80 crore.
While the domestic figures are impressive, the overseas numbers are even more staggering.
Dhurandhar Crosses ₹1,000 Crore Worldwide
Within just three weeks of its release, Dhurandhar has collected over ₹200 crore from overseas markets. The film’s worldwide box office collection now stands at ₹1,003.1 crore, officially crossing the ₹1,000 crore milestone.
With this achievement, Dhurandhar has overtaken Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which had a worldwide collection of ₹918.18 crore and previously ranked fourth among the highest-grossing Hindi films globally.
Eyeing Pathaan’s Record Next
After surpassing Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dhurandhar is now poised to break another major record. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which earned ₹1,050.3 crore worldwide, is the film’s next target. Trade analysts predict that Dhurandhar could surpass Pathaan by December 26, moving up to the third position on the all-time list.
Currently, the top two highest-grossing Hindi films worldwide remain:
- Dangal – ₹1,968.03 crore
- Jawan – ₹1,148.32 crore
With strong word-of-mouth, sustained audience turnout, and continued holiday support, Dhurandhar is well on track to rewrite box office history.
